Garments cut from honest materials, made to be worn for years.
Story
Portment began with a simple question: what would we want to keep wearing ten years from now? The answer was never about trend. It was leather that softens with use, wool that holds its shape, denim that fades into something personal.
We work in small runs with workshops in Japan and Italy — people who have spent their lives on a single craft. Each piece is cut generously, finished by hand, and left alone where it should be.

Materials
Lamb leather from Spain. Selvedge denim woven on shuttle looms in Okayama. Wool spun and finished in Biella. We choose mills before we design, because the cloth decides most of what a garment can become.
Nothing is treated to look older than it is. Patina comes from wearing.

Studio
Our studio sits on the second floor of a quiet building in Dongdaemun, Seoul. Visits are by appointment — write to us and we will find a time.
